Saturday Snapshot: ephemeral
I was driving along the highway earlier this week and spotted this sundog. It stayed long enough to allow me to exit the highway and pull over to the side of the road to take the shot. When I returned to the highway, it was already gone. Makes me happy to see a sundog, especially when I have a camera along.

Had never heard of sundog. I don't think I've ever seen one either, or maybe I didn't know what to look for. Wonderful that you were able to snap this picture and edumacate some of us.
